The Emotiva XSP-2 Differential Reference® Stereo Preamplifier is built for serious two-channel systems that demand low noise, precise control, and flexible source integration. Its fully balanced, fully differential analog signal path preserves signal integrity from balanced XLR input to balanced main and subwoofer outputs, while standard RCA sources are fully supported.

The XSP-2 also brings practical system control to a high-performance stereo setup. Built-in bass management supports 2.1 or 2.2 systems with selectable 40, 60, 80, and 100 Hz crossover points, stereo or summed-mono subwoofer operation, and remote-adjustable subwoofer level. A selectable MM/MC phono input, dedicated headphone amplifier, processor loop, and balanced or unbalanced Home Theater Bypass make it easy to integrate music, vinyl, headphones, subwoofers, and a surround system.

Modern Digital Inputs

An included fully balanced ESS-based DAC module adds HDMI ARC, USB, two coaxial, and two optical inputs while keeping the digital section isolated from the analog core. USB supports high-resolution PCM up to 24-bit/768 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512.
